Process
Discovery
I dig into the subject matter early, working with clients, subject matter experts and stakeholders through research, interviews and co-creation workshops to understand what needs to be communicated and to whom.
Concept
I develop the creative approach: the visual language, the analogies, the narrative structure. Whether it's a story world for children or a VR environment for industrial training, the concept does the heavy lifting.
Storyboarding
I storyboard quickly and with attention to detail, working out pacing, interactions, composition and flow before anything goes into production.
Documentation
Design documents, style guides, interaction specs, reference sheets. Everything the team needs to build with clarity and consistency.
Prototyping
Rough animatics, Figma prototypes for web and interactive projects, basic Unity builds. Enough to test ideas and get buy-in before committing to full production.
Direction
Briefing and directing illustrators, animators, 3D artists and developers, reviewing work at every stage and keeping the output true to the original vision.
Delivery
I stay close through production, QA and final delivery. Small teams and thorough prep up front means fewer surprises at the end.
